He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Hodges and Mavis Hodges; and his brother Bobbie Hodges. He is survived by: his wife Louise Hughes Hodges; his children, Theresa Hodges of Dover, Kathryn Perkins (Troy) of Winterville, NC and James "Jim" Hodges (Karin) of Creedmoor, NC; his grandchildren, Emily Perkins Hudson (Josh) of Winterville, NC, Elizabeth Perkins of Winterville, NC, Seth Hodges and Rebecca Hodges of Creedmoor, NC; his sisters, Sue Hodges Wilkinson (Robert "Bob") of Winston-Salem, NC and Linda Hodges Hicks of Raleigh; and his sister-in-law Ann Hughes McColl (Merrill) of Rexford, NY. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
