She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Shew and Geneva Freeman Shew Johnson; her husband Cornelius Norman; her stepfather Harley Johnson; her siblings, Shelby Evans and Dickie Shew; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Sue Norman, Mack Evans and Don Whitesell.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Jodi Wilmoth (Broz); her great grandchildren, Jackson Wilmoth, Isabella Wilmoth and Macon Wilmoth; her pet Rhett Butler; her sister Pat Tilley (Daryl); and her siblings-in-law, Beverly Shew, Martha Whitesell, Judy Reece (Dennis), Gray Norman (Marie), Thomas Norman (Frances), Benny Norman, Bobby Norman and Delbert Norman (Nancy).
The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 401 Technology Lane Suite 200, Mt. Airy, NC 27030.
