He was predeceased by: his father Louis McLain Howell; and his brothers, Dennis Howell and James Howell. He is survived by: his son Jacob Daniel Howell of Topsail Beach; his mother Bessie Pack Wilson; his stepfather Raymond Wilson of King; and his siblings-in-law, Amy, Kevin Dawson, Paula, Michael Albert and Janet Horton.
