He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Garfield and Ticie Ellen Marion Norman; his wife Marie Brown Norman; his stepgrandchild Byron Brown; and his brother Cornelius Norman.
He is survived by: his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Angela Norman; his stepdaughter Tona (Larry Spicer); his grandchildren, Brookelyn Norman (Chris Sherrill), Todd Norman and Pam Norman; his grandchildren-in-law, Shannon and Keith Layell; his grandchildren, Missy, Jackie Caudle, Mike and Amy Brown; his sisters, Martha Whitesell and Judy; his brother-in-law Dennis Reece; and his brothers, Thomas (Frances Norman), Bobby Norman, Benny Norman and Delbert (Nancy Norman). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
