He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Edward" Goins and Freeda Pond of Dobson; and his fiancé Cammie Smith. He is survived by: his stepmother Jeanie McHone of Garwood, NJ; his siblings, Frances Hill of Advance, NC., Teddy Goins of Dobson, NC and Kyle Goins of North Brunswick, NJ; his nephews, Shawn Akers of Rhodanthe, OBX and Austin Akers (Mickie) of Mt; and his close friend Chris Westmoreland.
