We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2019, at the age of 89, Ruth Dufresne (Dobson, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Squire Mooney and Nora Lee Boles Mooney; and her siblings, Ruby Mooney Bates, Clinton Mooney and Elmer Mooney.

She is survived by: her husband Charles "Charlie" Ernest Dufresne; her children, Debra Carr of Pacific Palisades, CA, Charles E. "Chuck" Jr. (Joy Dufresne) of Raleigh, NC and Karen Dufresne of Lake Worth, FL.; her grandchildren, Kimberly Dufresne, Matthew Dufresne and Jack Guastella; and her nephews, Calvin (Dorothy Mooney) and Terry (Bonnie Bates).
