He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert James Cummings Sr. and Hazel Mounce Cummings; his sister Brenda Cummings Cook; his wife Jo Anne Steele Cummings; his children, Rebecca Cummings, Jennifer Cummings and Robert Steele Cummings; his daughter-in-law Kim Perry Cummings; his grandchildren, Joshua Cave, Jacob Cave, Jenna Cave, Samuel Cummings and Perry Cummings; his sister Karen Sue Armstrong-Cummings; his brother-in-law Dan Armstrong; his sister Barbara Cummings Reed; his siblings-in-law, Billie and Bill Casstevens; and his son James York.
