Robert Brooks Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Brooks of Dobson, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on October 23, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Walter and Victoria Hedgecoe Brooks; his wife Dorothy Mae Hamlin Brooks; and his great grandchild Kevin Blocker. He is survived by: his daughter Vicky Diane; his son-in-law Ricky Shockley; his son Johnnie Lee Brooks; and his grandchildren, Raquel Gustafason, Melissa Barbour, Michele Brooks, Stacey Barker, Rhonda Hazelwood, Diana Stakes and Angel Brooks. He is also survived by 14 great grandchildren and one great, great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson NC 27017.
