He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Wilma Blevins Boyd; his son Toby Boyd; his daughter-in-law Sonya Boyd; his sister Sharon Jenkins; his brother-in-law Jamie Jenkins; his brothers, Alfred (Jan Boyd) and Richard (Terry Boyd); his nieces, Amy Collins, Sumer Jenkins, Bridget Shaw, Tiffany Russell and Leigh Wells; and his nephew Matthew Jenkins. He was also cherished by several great nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles.
