He is survived by: his wife Dorothy K. Riggs; his son Dennis Riggs; his daughter-in-law Janet Riggs; his stepsons, Mike Parsons (Susan) and Tim Parsons (Dara); his grandchildren, Dickie Riggs (Kati), Brittany Parsons and Allison Parsons; his great grandchildren, Kassidy Riggs and Alek Riggs; his sisters-in-law, Monroe Riggs, Judith Riggs, Betty Riggs and Anne Riggs; his friend Richard Marion; his former wife Lena H. Riggs; his brothers, Ruben Riggs, Paul Riggs and Fred Riggs; and his half-brother Benny Thompson.
