He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Sherman and Virginia Hall Parker; and his siblings, Carol Pierson, Tim Parker and Buddy Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Wood Parker; his fiancé Darren Parker; his grandchildren, Savannah Parker, Rhys Parker and Cole Parker; and his great grandchild Miller Parker.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church (3615 Rockford St, Mt Airy, NC 27030). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Mt Hermon Baptist Church (319 W Mt Herman Church Rd, Dobson, NC 27017).
