He was predeceased by: his wife Pegge Folger. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Meg Mansfield (Brian) of Raleigh and William Muirhead (Pam) of Franklinton; his grandsons, Clarke Mansfield and Britt Mansfield (Sara); and his nephew Cleve Folger (Linda) of Cary.
