She was predeceased by: her parents, Jess Franklin McHone and Lela Marsh McHone; her husband Ronald Oakley; and her children, Christy Joan Oakley and Roger Dean Oakley.

She is survived by: her children, Rita Oakley, Glenda (Ricky Williams), Denise (Tim Jarrell), Lisa Oakley, Misty Dawn Oakley and James Jeffery Oakley; and her sister Polly Johnson. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
