She was predeceased by: her sons, Larry Walters and Denny Walters. She is survived by: her granddaughter Krystal Matthews (Gary); and her great grandchildren, Brooke Matthews and Cassandra Matthews.

The family has requested in lieu of flowers memorials be made to the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church General Fund PO Box 130 State Road, NC 28676.
