As Laura Marie Edwards departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Laura Marie Edwards may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Laura Marie Edwards leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Madison "Matt" Edwards and Ethel Odessa Edwards; her husband Kenneth Virgil Doby; and her siblings, Ruby Sumner and Odell Edwards.
She is survived by: her sisters, Frances (Ray Holyfield) and Betty (Mack Wright). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
