He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Jack Pierce and Rosa Lee Brown Pierce; and his siblings, Christine Pierce, Ricky and Micky Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Whitaker Pierce; his children, Phillip Bolin and Charity; his son-in-law Daniel Galyean; his niece Lora Southard (Billy); his grandchildren, Kenneth Danley, Isaiah Galyean, Peyton Galyean and Joshua Isaacs; and his brother Charles Ray Pierce.
