It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie James Thomas (Dobson, North Carolina), who passed away on February 24, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Childress Thomas; his son Roger Thomas; and his siblings, Merle Hull, Helen Nichols, Lillian Hall, Harold Thomas, Zeb Thomas and Cliff Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Jimmy Thomas of Pilot Mountain, Mark Thomas of Mt, Tim, Cindy Thomas of Mt, Michael, Kim Thomas of Dobson and Charlie Thomas of Dobson; his sister-in-law Opal Thomas of Mt; and his niece Opal Belton of Dobson.
