It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie James Thomas (Dobson, North Carolina), who passed away on February 24, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ann Childress Thomas; his son Roger Thomas; and his siblings, Merle Hull, Helen Nichols, Lillian Hall, Harold Thomas, Zeb Thomas and Cliff Thomas.

He is survived by: his daughters-in-law, Jimmy Thomas of Pilot Mountain, Mark Thomas of Mt, Tim, Cindy Thomas of Mt, Michael, Kim Thomas of Dobson and Charlie Thomas of Dobson; his sister-in-law Opal Thomas of Mt; and his niece Opal Belton of Dobson.

The family request in lieu of flowers Memorials be made to the Double Creek Church of Christ Cemetery C/O Joyce Hardy 646 Double Creek Rd. Dobson, NC 27017.
