We are sad to announce that on September 17, 2023, at the age of 77, James Lewis Hardy of Dobson, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Hardy and Imogene White Hardy; his stepfather Leo Wood; his brother Edward Gray Hardy; and his parents-in-law, Crawley Hamlin and Beatrice Hamlin.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Hamlin Hardy; his daughter Tiffany Diane Warner (Aric); his grandchildren, Beatrice Diane Lane, Alison Warner and Ian Warner of Fargo; his siblings-in-law, Polly Hardy of Boonville, Craig and Robin Hamlin of Dobson; his nieces, Robin Hinton and Lisa Hardy (Danny Smith) of Boonville; his great-nieces, Haley Pardue, Taylor Hunt (Titus) and Dorsey Smith; and also King.
Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church Building Fund, 430 Rockford Road, Dobson, NC 27017.
