He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Martin Inman and Bessie White Inman; and his half-sisters, Ila Marsh, Mozelle Key and Nellie Tilley.

He is survived by: his wife Betty Moss Inman; his son Jeffrey; his daughter-in-law Stacy Inman; his grandson Bailey Inman; his sister Evelyn; his brother-in-law Jimmie Stone; his niece Beth Atkins; his great-nieces, Brooke Atkins and Brynna Atkins; and his close friends, Don and Brenda Snow. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
