He was predeceased by: his wife Diana Joyce Marten Bridgeman; and his brother Frederick Charles. He is survived by: his daughter Vicki Craddock of Allen Park, MI; his children-in-law, Douglas Craddock of Allen Park, MI and Dennis Bridgeman; his grandchildren, Matthew Craddock, Suthasinee Craddock, Joyce Hotwick, Steven Bridgeman, Marie-Louise Bridgeman, Andrew Bridgeman, Daniel Bridgeman, William Murphy, Aaron Joseph Smith Bridgeman and Christopher Bridgeman; his great grandchildren, Jack Craddock, Audrey Hotwick and Nora Hotwick; and also, Ramona Bridgeman of Dearborn, MI and James Harold Bridgeman of Dobson, NC.
