He is survived by: his children, Karen Mitchell Kale and Grady Shane Mitchell; his grandchildren, Blake Thomas, Gatlin Thomas, Evan Kale, Garrett Kale and Ezra Mitchell; his great grandchild Peyton Thomas; his siblings, Wanda Dobbins, Roy Mitchell and Randy Mitchell; and his close friend Sherry Hunt.
