She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKinley Fulk and Jettie Mae Reynolds Fulk; and her siblings, Melvin Fulk, Jean Johnson, Ann Key and Bill Fulk.

She is survived by: her husband Mike Atkins; her daughter Gina (Shane Gammons); her grandsons, Abram Gammons and Caleb Gammons; her sister Wilma; her brother-in-law Elmer Holcomb; her brother Clayton Fulk; and her sister-in-law Linda Marion.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rock Hill Baptist Church cemetery fund, 114 Bullin Farm Lane, Ararat NC 27007.
