It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Horne (Dobson, North Carolina), born in Mountain City, Tennessee, who passed away on October 31, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry and Mollie May Heaton Horne; and his siblings, Edward, Barton, Junior, Sharon and Peggy.
He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Luffman Horne; his children, Deborah Horne of Jonesville and David Allen Horne (Beverly) of Kernersville; his grandchildren, Nicole Halbeisen (Justin) of Charlotte and Christopher Hemric of Charlotte; and his sisters, Frances, Mary and Carolyn.
