He was predeceased by: his father Loyd Joe. He is survived by: his mother Martha Owen Howell of Lansing; and his siblings, Don Howell of Lansing, Peggy Desautel of Winston Salem, Sherry Cline (Jess) of Lansing and Lorri Bentley (Terry) of Valdese.
