He is survived by: his parents, Thomas Wayne and Elaine Shumaker Payne; his daughter Natalie Payne; his sister Cheryl Morton; his brother-in-law Brad; his brother Tom Payne; his sister-in-law April; his niece Haley Dixon; and his nephews, Nathan and Matt Dance.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Moody Funeral Services (215 W Kapp St, Dobson, NC 27017). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the New Hope Pentecostal Holiness Church (9147 NC-268, Elkin, NC 28621).
