With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles Cleve Stanley of Dobson, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Stanley and Mertie Dobbins Stanley; and his sons, Todd Stanley and Tony Stanley. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Stanley; his daughter Michele; his son-in-law Lincoln Miller; his son Mitch; his daughters-in-law, Amy Stanley, Abby Stanley and Michelle Stanley; his grandchildren, Riley Hutchens (Casey), Chase Stanley, Blake Stanley, Luke Miller, Carson Stanley and Katie Fields (Braxton); and his great grandchild Cooper Stanley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Salem Baptist Church (430 Rockford Rd, Dobson, NC 27017). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
