It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Collins Hardy of Dobson, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on October 6, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Jonas Franklin Collins; her brother Franklin Collins; her mother-in-law Lillian Willard; and her pet Max. She is survived by: her mother Vernice Omie White Collins; her husband Donnie Hardy; her daughters, Tammy Simmons (Chris) and Misty Willard (Cory); her grandchildren, Katherine Simmons, Corben Kiser, Chase Kiser, Gabe Simmons and Carley Atkins; her close friend Barbara Bledsoe (Bobbie); her nieces, Vickie Branch and Sheila Bowman; and her nephew Steven Collins.
