She is survived by: her husband Richard Odell Whitaker; her children, Susan Strickland (Scott), Patricia Stanley (Rickie), Ricky Odell Whitaker and Terry Wayne Whitaker; her grandchildren, Holly Linquist (Walter), Adam Strickland, Hannah Wall (Luke), Amber Strickland, Raymond Stanley, Christina Stanley (BJ), Brittany Stanley (Dallas), Jonathan Whitaker, Ricky Whitaker Jr., Raymond Whitaker (Michelle), Kaitlyn Concepcion (Alexia) and Mariesa Smith; and her siblings, Shirley Whitaker, Mary George (Alton), Nancy Kinyoun, Helen Richardson and Donnie Richardson (Linda). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
