He was predeceased by: his father Jesse Clayton Poindexter; and his brother Lloyd Poindexter. He is survived by: his wife Ramona Lynn Poindexter (Faulkner); his sons, Jesse, Brandon and Justin Poindexter; his grandchildren, Hunter, Logan, Dakota, Destiny, Desiree, Brianna Colton and Evan; and his siblings, Barbara Ann (Ashburn), Gail Poindexter (Johnson), Troy and Jerry Poindexter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
