Betty Atkins Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Atkins of Dobson, North Carolina, born in Surry, Virginia, who passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Foy Galyean and Lona Rose Lowe Galyean; her grandson Martin Brady Sizemore; and her sister Lora Jean Lowe. She is survived by: her husband Woltz Gray Atkins; her daughter Kim Atkins-Bruner; her son-in-law Benny; her son Kevin Gray Atkins; her daughter-in-law Nicole; her grandchildren, Emily Grace Bruner, Graylyn Harper Atkins and Andrea Paige Sizemore; her brother Dwain; her sister-in-law Wilma Galyean; and her niece Lisa Lowe Miller. She is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, neighbors, friends, and brothers and sisters.
Due to COVID restrictions, the family requests all attendees wear a mask and practice social distancing.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Brady Sizemore Memorial Foundation, 416 Branch Dr. Dobson, NC 27017.
