She was predeceased by: her parents, Burlie M. Goad and Lucy E. Rucker Goad; her sons, Gary and Kenneth Goad; her sisters, Arlean Little, Mary and Marie Hutchens; and her friend Grady Hoots.
She is survived by: her sister Velma Dotson of East Bend; and her half-siblings, Janie Whitlock of Lewisville and Michael Goad of Winston Salem. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
