He is survived by: his wife Lynn Smith Pope; his daughter Ashley Pope Broder (Ian Paul Broder) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Ethan Lehn Broder of Charlotte, Abby Lynn Broder of Charlotte and Lauren Elizabeth Broder of Charlotte; his sister Beth Pope Sigmon (Michael Jay Sigmon) of Hickory; his niece Adrienne Nicole Sigmon of Asheville; and his cousin Jane Elizabeth Herman of Hickory.
