He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Cloninger and Edna Lynch Cloninger; his daughters, Ginger Cloninger and Cindy Cloninger; and his siblings, Frank Cloninger, Tony Cloninger and Marie Goodman.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Hager Cloninger; his children, Kent Cloninger (Liz) of Davidson, NC and Karla Cloninger of Huntersville, NC; and his granddaughters, Reagan and Reese Cloninger.
