She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Greer and Vera Greer; her son John Vernon Sebastian; and her brothers, Tommy Greer, Jr., Robert Greer, Wayne Greer and Richard Greer.

She is survived by: her husband John Panther; her daughter Deania Greer Helpling of Coronado, CA.; her siblings, David Greer of Lenoir, Frankie Greer of North Wilkesboro, Judy Wingler of Virginia and Lynn Alexander of North Wilkesboro; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Panther, Haley Sebastian and Megan Sebastian.
