He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Prevatte and Doshie Smith Prevatte; his wife Diane Prevatte; and his sister Louise Eckersly. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Prevatte (Sherri) and Melissa Prevatte; his siblings, Jake Prevatte, John Prevatte, William Prevatte, Vicki Smith, Marjorie Davis and Jane Cowan; his grandchildren, Joshua Prevatte, Hannah Prevatte, Joseph Prevatte, Matthew Prevatte, John Luke Hardin, James Hardin, Destiny Hardin and David Hardin; and his great grandchild Silas Prevatte. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
