He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Eugene Genett Sr. and Lynn Richie Genett. He is survived by: his wife Linda Genett of Charlotte, NC.; his children, Michael E. Genett (Denise), Courtney Shaw (John) and Matthew Genett (Kristen); his grandchildren, Jenna (Chris), Joshua, Katie (Dylan), Abigail, Madison, Conner, Kylie, Emma, Jacob, Mia, Mason, Lily and Lucy; his great grandchildren, Audrey, Delilah, Antonio and Ceci; his sister Ali Stout; his nieces and nephews, Johnny, Spring and Josh; his brother-in-law William Robert Flattery (Mie); his niece LeAnn; his nephews, Bryan and Joshua; his great-niece Evie; and also, Linda and Blake (Brittany).
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Denver United Methodist Church (3910 N Nc 16 Business Hwy, Denver, NC 28037).
