He was predeceased by: his parents, Hoke Fesperman and Mami Corl Fesperman; his wife Betty Wagoner Fesperman; and his siblings, Hubert Fesperman, Jones "Eli" Fesperman, Mildred "Bill" Carter, Mary "Kat" Gosney, Edith "Sissie" Duncan and Shirley Cline.

He is survived by: his daughter Lisa File (Tony) of Denver, NC; and his granddaughters, Allison Brooke File and Madison Michelle File The.

Memorials may be made to St. James Lutheran Church and Shriners Children's hospital.
