He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Sronce Ballard; his children, Regina Ballard Lenora (Steve White), Byron Ballard (Tammy) and Ramona Carpenter (Tweed); his siblings, Joel Maners, Barbara Rogers, Michael Ballard, Charles Ballard and Gail Ballard; and his daughter-in-law Tina Ammerman (Gary). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Victory Baptist Church (6041 King Wilkinson Rd, Denver, NC 28037). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Victory Baptist Church Cemetery (6041 King Wilkinson Rd, Denver, NC 28037).
