He is survived by: his children, Larry "Gene" Howell Jr. (Reba) of Lincolnton and Patti Howell Wilson (Bobby); his siblings, Benny Howell (Debbie) of Mt. Holly and Rickie Carpenter of Kings Mountain; and his grandchildren, Randy Kale, Cassie Stevens, Melissa Korn, Kayla Hester, Jesse Howell and Dalton Howell.
