The passing of Katherine Ann Sherrill of Denver, North Carolina, born in Asheville, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on March 7, 2025 at the age of 66. Though Katherine Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Katherine Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John and Ann Crawford Sherrill of Denver, NC.. She is survived by: her son Joshua Haigler (Sarah) of Bournville; her brother John "Skipper" Sherrill (Candy) of Chocowinity, NC.; her grandchildren, Charlotte "Lottie" and Daniel Haigler; her nieces, Kelsey S. White (Zack) and Melissa S. Davis (Mitch); and her uncle Charles Crawford (Geraldine).

A memorial service was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Southlake Presbyterian Church (13820 Hagers Ferry Rd, Huntersville, NC 28078).

The family asks to support Breast Cancer Society in lieu of sending flowers.
