He was predeceased by: his father Richard Cox. He is survived by: his mother Jodie Cox; his children, Chris, Tyler Cox of Denver and Katie Cox of Denver; his brothers, Tom (Kennifer) of Matthews, NC and Doug (Tammy) of Charlotte, NC; his nieces and nephews, William, Jacob, David Cox, Kelly and Mackenzie Cox; and his close friend Kelly Pope.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Huntersville United Methodist Church or Hospice and Palliative Care of the Charlotte region.
