He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Bertie Dockery Smith; and his wife Barbara Reynolds Smith. He is survived by: his sons, Marty Smith of Denver and Carroll Smith of Mauldin, SC.; and his brother Curtis Smith of Florida.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:45 PM at the Burke Mortuary of Maiden (1101 E Maiden Rd, Maiden, NC 28650). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
