He is survived by: his wife Roberta; his son Robert; his daughter-in-law Angela of Huntersville, NC; his daughter Leigh Koontz; his son-in-law Barry of Statesville, NC.; his grandchildren, Emily Brown (Chris), Anderson Bales, Avery Bales and Myles Koontz; and his siblings, Peggie Pagoota (Larry) and Richard Bales (Trudy).
