He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Anderson and Myrtle Sellers Anderson; and his siblings, Charlotte Anderson, Betty Spargo, Lynn Steele, Robert Anderson, Lester Anderson and Bruce Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Anderson; his daughters, Brenda Anderson McKinney of Denver and Tabitha Anderson of Denver; his granddaughter Hannah McKinney; and his siblings, Penny Jackson of Stanley, Marshall "Willie" Anderson of Mt. Holly and Floyd Junior Anderson of Denver.

Memorials may be made to Lake Norman Food Ministry of Denver Wesleyan Church, 2381 N. Highway 16, Denver, NC 28037.
