It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Denise Lorene Mills of Denver, North Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Brasco Cornelius, Sr. and Virginia Long Cornelius; and her siblings, Clarence Long, Brasco Cornelius, Jr., Charles Juniors and Tina Cornelius.
She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn Johnson (James); her siblings, Janice Cherry and Dennis Cornelius; her foster mother Faye Clark; her grandson Charles Long; and her great-niece Dynasty Hunter. She is also survived by 3 foster sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren.
