He was predeceased by: his father Claude Vanhoy; his wife Gail L. Vanhoy; and his son William Archie Vanhoy. He is survived by: his daughter Elizabeth Vanhoy Shaver (Robert) of Denver, NC; and his grandchildren, Eric Shaver and McKenna Shaver.
