Woody Sturdivant Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2024, at the age of 72, Woody Sturdivant of Denton, North Carolina, born in Davidson, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Woody may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Woody touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William W. "Bill" Sturdivant, Sr. and Arlene Floyd Sturdivant. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hughes Sturdivant; and his sisters, Libby S. Carrick (Max) of Lexington and Judy S. Richardson of Richmond, VA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
