He was predeceased by: his parents, William Reid Cagle and Betty B. Cranford Cagle; his former wife Ila Mae Staley Cagle; his son Jerry Wayne Cagle; his daughters-in-law, Jean Cagle and Odette Cagle; and his siblings, John Cagle, Paul Cagle, Glen Cagle, Nora Smith and Polly Boyles.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Dorsett Cagle; his sons, Robert "Bob" Neal Cagle (Louise) and Willie Dyle Cagle, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Wayne Cagle, Lisa Bunting, Wanda Cagle, Neal Cagle, Brent Cagle, Kerry Vanover and Kimberly Sarks. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren; and 10 great-great grandchildren.
