He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Quincy Garner and Mary Magdalene Hughes Garner; and his siblings, Donnel, Clayton, Herman Garner, Elna Talbert, Becky Powers and Pat Hamby.
He is survived by: his son Joshua Garner; and his siblings, Clegg, Worth "Duff" Garner, Elaine Gallimore, Sherill Callicutt and Kay Craig.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Old Fashioned Baptist Church (3823 Richey Rd, Denton, NC 27239). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
