She was predeceased by: her parents, James Luther Tysinger and Laura "Ettie" Baker Tysinger. She is survived by: her children, Kristal S. Osborne (Mark) of Lexington, James Sullivan (Mae Hayman) of Denton and Justin Sullivan (Alecia) of Denton; her sisters, Phyllis Tysinger Hughes of Lexington and Nancy Tysinger Tate of Denton; her grandchildren, Austin Sullivan, Sarah Kiger (Dylan), Daniel Sullivan, Caleb Sullivan and Laura Osborne; her niece Jennifer Hughes Chapman (Brandon); and her nephew Jonathan Hughes (Michelle).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Briggs Funeral Home (103 E Salisbury St, Denton, NC 27239). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Summerville Baptist Church (3134 Summerville Church Rd, Denton, NC 27239).
